Product Description

The JA-3 shear relief valve is the key part of the mud pump. The JA-3 shear pin safety valve is used in the discharge part of the mud pump. It changes the release pressure by changing the position of the shear pin. It is easy to operate, reliable in operation, and has a small pressure bearing piston area; Easy to reset; Good universality, can be connected to various pumps. There are two types of connection for shear pin safety valves: threaded connection and flange connection, depending on the customer's requirements.

The JA-3 shear pin safety valve is currently widely used in high-pressure jet drilling rigs and can also be used in high-pressure circulation systems for other media such as oil and water.
Compared with spring type and diaphragm type safety valves, shear pin relief valve has the following characteristics:
1. Flexible opening and closing;
2. The pressure bearing piston has a small area;
3. Simple reset;
4. Good universality and can be connected to various pumps.

Operating Instruction

 

JA-3 shear relief valve is the safety of the mud pump. Before the mud pump starts working, the rated pressure is determined based on the specifications of the mud pump cylinder liner and piston. Then, lift the upper cover of the safety valve and insert the shear pin into the pin hole on the shear plate. If the pump head pressure exceeds the rated pressure, the shear pin will be cut off, and the mud will be discharged from the side hole of the safety valve to play a protective role. Please note that one shear pin is only allowed to be inserted into one shear plate. The cylinder liner size is related to the shear pin safety valve pressure change. Do not use iron wire, welding rod or other substitutes. Otherwise, the safety valve pressure will be affected and cause an accident. The easily damaged parts in the shear pin safety valve are the shear pin, piston, piston rod, rubber bumper, etc.
