Product Description

The crosshead is the key part of the power end of the mud pump. It slides on the upper and lower guide plates, thus stimulating the intermediate pull rod to transfer the driving force to the hydraulic end. One end of it holds the middle pull rod. The cavity connects the small end of the connecting rod through the crosshead pin.
The crosshead is made of ductile iron with an extended strength of more than 600MPa to ensure high strength and wear resistance.
The difference between metric and imperial crossheads is the screw holes.
In order to ensure close contact, the contact area between the crosshead hole and the conical face of the crosshead pin should be greater than 75%.
